(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and a high-level delegation departed Phnom Penh on Wednesday (Jul. 15) for a working visit to China from 15 to 17 July 2026 at the invitation of the Government of the People's Republic of China.

During this visit, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet will participate in the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 World AI Conference, under the theme "AI Partnership for a Brighter Future" in Shanghai on 17 July 2026. He will deliver a speech at the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 World AI Conference, and he will meet representatives of the Chinese business communities.

During his stay in China, Samdech Thipadei will call on Chinese President Xi Jinping and hold a bilateral meeting with Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of China.

The working visit underscores the shared commitment of Cambodia and China to further deepening their enduring friendship and advancing mutually beneficial cooperation. The visit will inject a fresh momentum into the implementation of the comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation, advance the diamond cooperation framework and promote the building of an all-weather Cambodia-China Community with a shared future in the new era.
