(Beijing): Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni and Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk granted a Royal Audience to Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the royal residence in Beijing on Wednesday (Jun. 17).

Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, attended the audience on behalf of Chinese President Xi Jinping and conveyed the president’s greetings and goodwill to their majesties.

The meeting, held during the king and queen mother’s visit to Beijing, reflected the close and longstanding friendship between Cambodia and China.

Both sides reaffirmed the strong ties and traditional cooperation between the two countries, which continue to maintain a comprehensive strategic partnership supported by regular high-level exchanges and collaboration across multiple sectors.
