Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 22 – General Department of Identification of Ministry of Interior (MoI) published 9,751,934 identification cards to offer to the citizens, according to the report (2014-2017) of General Department of Identification.

Among those, 55,383 cards were republished for a better quality, data correction, loss, and technical issue, the report added.

Through the implementation of Law on Election of Members of National Assembly, MoI has transferred data of 9,718,930 people to National Election Committee (NEC) as a basis to verify in voter registration list.
