Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 17 - The National Election Committee (NEC) notified the submission and reception of complaints for the upcoming 2018 Senate Election.

A press statement, issued on Wednesday morning, stated that during the 15-day of publicizing of voting list from December 30 to January 14, 2018, NEC has received a total of 150 complaints.

Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) submitted 123 complaints, Khmer National United Party submitted 10 complaints, and FUNCINPEC submitted 17 complaints.

NEC approved 144 complaints, rejected one complaint, pended three complaints, and requested two complaints to be withdrawn.
