(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen attended a breakfast meeting with Pakistani Senate Chairman Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani, on Wednesday morning (Feb. 4) at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh Hotel.
It is worth noting that Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani, Chairman of the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Founding President of the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC), and a delegation arrived in Cambodia on Monday (Feb. 2) for a four-day official visit, scheduled from 2 to 5 February 2026.
The visit is being made at the invitation of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of Cambodia. During the visit, Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani and his delegation were granted a royal audience with Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni.
The Pakistani Senate chairman also held bilateral talks with Samdech Techo Hun Sen, and met with Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia. He will also meet with Samdech Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of Cambodia.
The official visit of the Pakistani Senate chairman, on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of Cambodia-Pakistan relations, is part of the efforts to further strengthen relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Pakistan.
