(Oddar Meanchey): An explosion caused by a cluster munition injured three workers in Oddar Meanchey on 29 January 2026, according to Heng Ratana, Director General of the Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC).

The incident occurred in Bosthom village, Banteay Ampil district, when a cluster munition detonated, seriously and slightly injuring three workers from an SN electricity service provider.

Following the incident, Heng Ratana wished to appeal all local villagers, private sector and public sector living and working in the affected areas to closely collaborate with local authorities or CMAC to prevent further accidents caused by remnants of war left from the Thai invasion.
