(Phnom Penh): Cambodia generated approximately USD 6.4 billion in revenue from agricultural exports across all sub-sectors in 2025, marking a 7.31 percent increase compared to 2024, when export earnings stood at about USD 6.02 billion.

Khim Finan, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, confirmed to Fresh News.

Rice exports recorded particularly strong gains, rising from USD 552.22 million in 2024 to USD 749.44 million in 2025, an increase of more than USD 197 million, or 35.71 percent.

The European Union remained the largest market for Cambodian rice, while exports to China and ASEAN countries expanded significantly. In terms of volume, rice exports in 2025 increased by approximately 98.88 percent to the Chinese market and 118.42 percent to ASEAN markets compared to 2024.

Exports of animal feed also saw notable growth. Cambodia exported animal feed worth approximately USD 217.28 million in 2025, representing an increase of more than USD 75 million, or 53.02 percent, from USD 141.99 million in 2024.
