Takeo (FN), Jan. 3 - Takeo provincial governor Lay Vannak reminded district governors and border-based officials to strictly prohibit the rent of rice fields to Vietnamese nationals and must arrest any Vietnamese who came under the name of a technician or a worker.

"Why rent a farmland to Vietnamese when some local Cambodians don’t have lands to farm? It is forbidden to rent the farmland to Vietnamese”, said Lay Vannak at the meeting with Takeo police officials on Tuesday afternoon.
