Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 29 - The Royal Government recently established joint working group to study on constitutional amendment.

According to Interior Minister Sar Kheng during the year-end meeting of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction on Thursday, constitutional amendment will be made in response to the changes of Cambodian and global situations.

He continued that the three points of amendments will cover negative thoughts on Cambodia, foreign interference, and the Royal Government's compositions.

The minister reiterated that the amendments will not maximize the power of Prime Minister Hun Sen, but to reform the compositions of the Royal Government, and to protect the national interests through non-interference into the internal affairs of Cambodia by foreigners.
