Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 20 - The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) pledged to raise $25 million to support CMAC in mines clearance in 2018, according to the request of Senior Minister Ly Thuch, secretary general of Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC).
Ly Thuch would like to thank all the leaders of UNDP who have been working with other donors and partners to mobilize funds for mine clearance and remnants of warfare in Cambodia.
Additionally, CMAC secretary general also said that Cambodia is a country with peace and security, but people are still affected by the undiscovered explosive weapons from the past, and for that he asked other countries and development partners to continue funding CMAC.
