Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 20 – The fisheries sector earned over $660,000 of the revenue for 11 months of 2017, according to the Veng Sakhon, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

According to a report, 8,820 tons of fresh fishery is exported, an increase of 620 tons compared to the same period in 2016, whereas the processed fishery reached 4,760 tons, an increase of 160 tons.

The report added that 348 illegal fisheries cases were cracked down, of which 313 were freshwater cases and 35 were sea cases.
