(Kuala Lumpur): U.S. President Donald J. Trump departed Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Monday (Oct. 27) bound for Tokyo, Japan, as part of his Asia tour, according to the White House.

In a post on Truth Social, President Trump wrote, “Just leaving Malaysia, a great and very vibrant country. Signed major Trade and Rare Earth Deals, and yesterday, most importantly, signed the Peace Treaty between Thailand and Cambodia. NO WAR! Millions of lives saved. Such an honor to have gotten this done. Now, off to Japan!!!”

During his visit, President Trump attended the ASEAN–U.S. Summit and related meetings. He also presided over the signing ceremony of the historic Joint Declaration between Cambodia and Thailand on 26 October 2025, alongside Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
