Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 13 - Samdech Say Chhum, President of Cambodia’s Senate, met with His Excellency Ivo Barek, Vice President of Czech Republic’s Senate, on Wednesday morning to discuss on strengthening Senate relations between the two nations.

Samdech Say Chhum said that the Cambodian government supports and urges more connection, friendship and cooperation with the government of Czech Republic.

He added that Cambodia’s Senate would like to strengthen cooperation with the Czech Republic’s Senate by exchanging field experts or Secretary Generals to share knowledge especially on law, economy, society, commerce, health, education, culture, politics and administration, and also to support each other on the international stage such as under Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).

His Excellency Ivo Barek also expressed his gratitude towards the warm welcome of Cambodia’s Senate during the visit of the 60th Anniversary Relationship between the two nations.
