Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 13 - Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, on Wednesday instructed national police in Cambodia to explain to the people about Kem Sokha’s case that led to the dissolution of the opposition party.

Sar Kheng said that after Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) dissolved, the public were well aware of the serious crime committed by Kem Sokha, CNRP’s president, but there were still some people who had not accepted the case.

The Supreme Court of Cambodia ruled for the dissolution of CNRP due to the political party’s conspiracy with foreign power to topple the Cambodian government.

118 leaders and politicians from the CNRP were also banned from political activities for five years including party president Kem Sokha and exiled former leader Sam Rainsy.
