Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 12 - The National Election Committee (NEC) of South Korea met with the Representative of Cambodia’s NEC in order to exchange knowledge on electoral processes.

The NEC of South Korea stated that they are currently in the Association of World Election Bodies (A-WEB) and recommended Cambodia to also join A-WEB.

The meeting was held in the main office of Cambodia’s NEC on December 8, 2017 with the presence of President of the NEC, Som Savuth, and Head of Department of Administration and International Election, Kim Chingmok.

The President of Cambodia’s NEC said he would consider the recommendation and would report to higher authorities.
