HOUSTON, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed on Friday in a shooting incident in northwest of Houston area, Texas.

Police of Harris County, where Houston is located, responded to a call late Friday afternoon and found three people dead inside a home, about 35 km northwest of downtown Houston.

The police said the people were apparently shot dead. They also said a red Acura, possibly a 1998 model, fled the scene.

Investigation into the incident is underway.
