(Phnom Penh): Cambodia has purchased 10 Boeing aircrafts from the United States and offered zero tariffs on all US imports, according to Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).
Speaking at a press conference on Friday (Aug. 1), the vice chairman hailed the tariff cut by US President Donald Trump as a major boost for Cambodia’s economy, noting that Cambodian exports to the US now face only a 19 percent tariff.
