Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 5 – The Government of Japan provided another grant of $ 329,736 to Cambodia for development projects in rural parts of Preah Vihea, Kratie, Kandal, and Siem Reap provinces.
The signing ceremony for the grant took place on Tuesday afternoon at the Japanese Embassy, with the Japanese side represented by Hidehisa Horinouchi, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia, and Cambodian side represented by 4 institutions.
These grants will be used for repairing road in Preah Vihea province, building health centers in Kratie and Kandal provinces, and implementing an X-ray and an ECHO scanner machines at Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap.
The director of Public Works and Transport Department of Preah Vihea, said that the plan to repair the road will help to improve people’s living condition.
