(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet announced that he will lead a Cambodian delegation to a special meeting in Kuala Lumpur aimed at achieving an immediate ceasefire between Cambodia and Thailand.

Samdech Thipadei wrote on his social media on Sunday night (Jul. 27) as follows:

“I will lead Cambodian delegation to attend a special meeting in Kuala Lumpur hosted by Malaysia, co-organized by the United States and with participation of China. The purpose of this meeting is to achieve an immediate ceasefire, which was initiated by President Donald Trump and agreed to by both Prime Ministers of Cambodia and Thailand.

I'd like to thanks Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim for his initiative and coordination to organize and host this special meeting.”
