Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 5 - Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will leave Cambodia on Tuesday afternoon after a three-day visit, according to Cambodian officials.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation's press release on Wednesday, this visit was invited by Prime Minister Hun Sen to strengthen diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Bangladesh.

Her Excellency Sheikh Hasina paid a royal call to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Palace.

She also met with Samdech Say Chhum, President of the Senate, Samdech Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly, and Samdech Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia.

The two Prime Ministers presided over the signing ceremony of a number of cooperative documents to be followed by the Joint Press Announcement.

During her stay in Cambodia, Her Excellency ha visited the Monument of Independence and Toul Sleng Genocide Museum; paid homage to the great war heroes and heroines of Cambodia; paid tribute and respect to the King Father, Norodom Sihanouk; and attended a business dialogue organized by the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce.

Her Excellency Sheikh Hasina led a delegation to Cambodia and arrived at Phnom Penh International Airport at 12:30 pm on December 3, 2017 for a three-day visit. The visit took place from December 3 to 5, 2017 to strengthen friendship and cooperation with Cambodia.
