Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 3 - Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, arrived in Cambodia on Sunday.
Bangladeah Prime Minister led a delegation to Cambodia for a three-day official visit this December 2017.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation's press release on Wednesday, this visit will be from December 3 to 5, 2017 as invited by Prime Minister Hun Sen to strengthen diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Bangladesh.
Her Excellency Sheikh Hasina will pay a royal call to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Palace.
She will also meet with Samdech Say Chhum, President of the Senate, Samdech Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly, and Samdech Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia.
The two Prime Ministers will preside over the signing ceremony of a number of cooperative documents to be followed by the Joint Press Announcement.
During her stay in Cambodia, Her Excellency will visit the Monument of Independence and Toul Sleng Genocide Museum; pay homage to the great war heroes and heroines of Cambodia; pay tribute and respect to the King Father, Norodom Sihanouk; and attend a business dialogue organized by the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce.
Prime Minister Hasina made her first visit to Cambodia on January 2001 for the Conference of the Association of Asian Parliaments of Peace in Phnom Penh.
