Siem Reap (FN), Dec. 1 - Cambodia profited over $95 million from Angkor tickets, according to Angkor Enterprise’s press release on Friday.
In the first 11 months of 2017, 2,189,804 international tourists visited Angkor Archaeological Park, an increase of 12.43% compared to the same period in 2016.
Within 11 months, Cambodia received a total revenue of $95,661,241, an increase of 72.61% compared to the same period in 2016.
The Royal Government of Cambodia has implemented a new ticket price for Angkor tour, which was launched since February 1, 2017.
In 10 months after the implementation, the government has contributed $3,805,526 to Kantha Bopha Children's Hospital that provides free healthcare to children.
