Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 22 - In response to foreign reactions to the dissolution of Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), Prime Minister Hun Sen said that any decision on Cambodia's fate is depending on his own people not foreigners.
He made the statement at his meeting with more than 10 thousand workers from various factories in Phnom Penh on Wednesday.
The premier said that if the U.S ceases aid for the NEC, the U.S would not only be able to overthrow him, but destroy democracy in Cambodia.
He added that ceasing aid does not kill the Cambodian government, but those who are serving political interests for the U.S.
He replied to the U.S that Cambodia could not bend down for the sake of foreign aid and lose independence and sovereignty.
