Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 21 - The Deputy Director General of the Cambodian National Assembly, reported Tuesday afternoon that the government had successfully taken five cars back from senior representatives of Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) after its political party dissolution a few days earlier.
He stated that ten cars including the five seized cars were given back to five representatives from Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) and five former CNRP officials that had joined CPP as a reason that they should have cars to suit their top positions.
He also said that three cars owned by three former CNRP’s Deputy Director Generals would also be returned along with other governmental properties.
