KIEV, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed and three others, including a Ukrainian lawmaker, were wounded in a vehicle blast in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, on late Wednesday, authorities said.
An unidentified man was killed, while Igor Mosiychuk, a lawmaker from the Radical Party, his aide and a well-known political analyst Vitaly Bala were wounded in the blast of the motorcycle in front of them, Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to Ukrainian Interior Minister wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Oksana Blishchuk, Kiev police spokesperson, said that four men were wounded, when the car parked in front of the building of the local TV channel exploded at about 10 p.m. local time (GMT 1900). One of them died on the way to the hospital.
Later in the day, Oleg Lyashko, the leader of the Radical Party, said the blast was an "assassination attempt" on Mosiychuk linked to his professional activity.
