Phnom Penh (FN), Oct 4 - Approximately 20 CNRP officials and three vice presidents have fled Cambodia in fear of the arrest for involving with Kem Sokha’s alleged treason case, according to senior officials in the Immigration Department on Wednesday.

The source stated that out of all the 55 CNRP lawmakers, only 20 still remains in Cambodia since the rest have fled Cambodia to foreign countries.

According to a CNRP member requesting to be anonymous, CNRP top officials have left Cambodia for two main reasons - political mission and fear of arrest.

Prime Minister Hun Sen recently announced that the treason case would not simply end with Kem Sokha's arrest. The case was systematically organized joined by many officials.

The premier stated that he is determined to eliminate all traitors, and he will not allow any rebels in the country.
