France (FN), October 3 - Approximately 1,000 Cambodians enjoyed the Khmer Solidarity Meal, organized in France, presided over by Hun Manet, lieutenant general in the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces.
Hun Manet considered this Cambodia-style meal as a unified event, and in that occasion, he explained the current situation in Cambodia.
“The government has many missions and principles to help Cambodian citizens. Trust us. The government has never considered any Cambodian as enemy, we would instead help everyone and especially the poor. The government will continue to protect our territory for our next generations, promote our honorable nation, sustain further peace and good reputation, and assist good relations of Cambodians living in the mainland and abroad,” said Hun Manet.
He thanked everyone for the participation, which showed a sense of solidarity as a united Cambodian.
Nearly 1000 attendees welcomed Hun Manet and expressed that they were happy to meet him and listen to stories about Cambodia’s progress.
Paris, France, was the final destination of European tour among Hun Manet's five goals, which resulted in successful outcomes, despite the provocative protests that raged by approximately 50 demonstrators.
