Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 4 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet will participate in the 8th Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Summit under the theme "Toward a Better Community Through Innovation-driven Development", the 10th Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) Summit under the theme "Towards Seamless Connectivity for Mekong Sub-regional Integration", and the 11th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Viet Nam (CLMV) Summit under the theme "Friendship and Solidarity for Resilient and Prosperous Community" in Kunming, Yunnan Province, the People's Republic of China from 6-7 November 2024.

"Samdech Thipadei will be accompanied by Cambodian Foreign Affairs Sok Chenda Sophea, and Chhieng Yanara, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions, Second Vice-chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, and Minister in charge of Greater Mekong Subregion, as well as other ministers, along with key government officials and business leaders from the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and the Cambodian Oknha Association," according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Monday (Nov. 4).

"The summits will review overall achievements and chart future directions to widen cooperation and further promote mutual trust as well as strengthen partnerships among member countries, contributing to socio-economic development and enhancing the well-being of peoples in the region. They will also demonstrate the significance of sustained peace and long-term sustainable development and peaceful co-existence among member countries.

During his stay in Kunming, Samdech Thipadei is expected to have bilateral meetings with foreign leaders and business people."
