Phnom Penh (FN), September 15 - A South African man who managed to imbibe 59 cocaine-filled pellets, was arrested upon arrival at the Phnom Penh International Airport.
The suspect , Blignaut Chan, had flown from Brazil to Cambodia via Dubai.
The operation took place on Wednesday by the Anti-drug Department in collaboration with immigration police and other relevant authorities at Phnom Penh International Airport under the co-operation of Sieng Sok, deputy prosecutor of the PPMC.
After the arrest, the police seized 59 pieces of cocaine, equaling 759.95 grams, a passport and a cell phone.
