Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 14 – Khuon Sudary, Cambodian President of the National Assembly, sent a condolence letter to Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, over the Typhoon Yagi tragedy.
“It is with a heavy heart that I learn of the recent disaster, Typhoon Yagi, which has brought immense sorrow and loss, claiming hundreds of lives and displacing many people. Our thoughts are with all those affected,” according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Saturday (Sep. 14).
“On behalf of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, I would like to express my deepest sympathies and most heartfelt condolences to you and the bereaved families who lost their loved ones in this disaster.
We stand in solidarity with our Vietnamese brothers and sisters, hoping for a swift recovery and rebuilding process. May those who perished rest in peace, and may the injured have a speedy recovery.
Please accept, Honourable Chairman, the assurances of my highest consideration and my most heartfelt condolences.”
