Phnom Penh (FN), August 29 - Cambodia and Vietnam held a bilateral meeting on drug issues on Tuesday morning.

The meeting focused on the prevention and suppression of drugs flows between the two countries, according to Mok Chito, deputy chief of National Police.

“The goal of the meeting is to prevent drugs flows between the two countries”, stated Mok Chito.
 
Cambodia also requested Vietnam for the support on human rights issues as well as trainings related to drug issues.

In the first half of 2017, authorities cracked down 4,331 cases, arrested 9,694 criminals, confiscated 54 cars, 938 motors and more than 119 kg of drugs.
