Phnom Pen (FN), August 24 - Anti-drug police in collaboration with INTERPOL arrested a transnational drug ringleader in Malaysia, who has been hiding in Cambodia for two years.
Freeman Selby Dean, 34, a New Zealand national, was arrested on Wednesday at the Department of Non-immigrant Foreigner and Technology, according to Colonel In Song, chief of the Anti-Drug Department.
"The man trafficked drug in Malaysia on June 11, 2012, and he escaped to hide in Cambodia," the colonel stated.
"For further action, we will work with Malaysia and the international police to send the trafficker to be sentenced in Malaysia," he added.
