Phnom Penh (FN), August 10 – Cambodian National Rescue Party (CNRP) issued a statement declaring that it takes no responsibility for the activities of individuals who used the audio, documentary, or acts of a convict to connect with the party.
“CNRP is not responsible for any conspiring acts of the individual,” according to CNRP’s statement released on Thursday.
The statement was made following the Facebook post of CNRP's vice president, Eng Chhay Eang.
“Law on amendments of law on political parties banned political parties but not individual. So on behalf of myself, I still have the right to talk or post a picture on social networking service account of those whom I support, but considered as a convict by those with power,” Eng posted on his Facebook account on Monday.
