Phnom Penh (FN), July 28 - Minister of Commerce, Pan Sorasak presided over a signing memorandum of understanding (MoU) ceremony between the Royal Group, represented by Kith Meng, chairman of Royal Group, and Lee Gab Soo, Executive Director of EMART with an investment up to $100 million.
MoU marked a new progress of economic relations between Cambodia and the Republic of Korea.
“Under Prime Minister Hun Sen’s leadership, Cambodia has enjoyed the fruits of economic growth achieved at around 7% per annum for over the past two decades,” said Pan Sorasak.
“The premier introduced a reform program aimed at promoting trade and investment stability as well as poverty reduction strategies that allow citizens to benefit from it,” he added.
The progress gives Cambodians the opportunity to acquire all kinds of products and services, including the new shopping experience that EMART will provide to Cambodia.
The minister appreciated EMART’s operation, and he wished the two partners to have a fruitful result in this collaboration and success in joint ventures.
