Phnom Penh (FN), July 24 – The CNRP will hold a meeting tomorrow afternoon to discuss changes to the party's brand in accordance with the new amendment to the law on political parties.
New CNRP posters and billboards will omit the images of Sam Rainsy and Kem Sokha.
Eng Chhay Eang, vice president of CNRP, said that the agenda will include a strategy session focusing on strengthening the responsibilites of the commune chief, capacity building, and voter registration.
He added that tomorrow's meetings will introduce a new model for the replacement of the old logo.
The law of the political party has been revised to include 5 articles, and now includes the new Article 6, which stipulates that political parties cannot use audio, images, documents or activities of convicted criminals for political reasons.
