Seoul (FN), May 18 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet urged home buyers, who have the means to continue paying the company, to continue to make payments in order to ensure the completion of their houses.
The premier spoke on Saturday (May 18) during his meeting with the Cambodian community in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet stated that the real estate problem starts from two issues: the wrong assessment between customers and the wrong assessment of investment.
Premier Hun Manet underscored, "Please purchase houses according to the project with a clear commitment. If you are able to fulfil your obligations, you should continue to make payments to enable the company to complete the construction of your houses. While some may face difficulties, those who can afford it should support each other by continuing their payments."
Samdech Thipadei underlined that regarding the Leng Channa scam, action has been taken since February 2024 following the receipt of information. The Royal Government continues to crack down on scammers involved in Leng Channa's project.
On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet also assured that the Royal Government is committed to addressing the people's issues and finding measures to resolve them as much as possible.
