Seoul (FN), May 18 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet announced an additional three months for identification officers to continue issuing passports to Cambodian citizens residing in the Republic of Korea.

The premier spoke on Saturday (May 18) during his meeting with the Cambodian community in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.

"I extend my sincerest apologies to the families of our identification officers who have been awaiting the return of their husbands, fathers, and children to Cambodia by month's end," the premier said. "However, we must request an additional three months from all our officials to continue assisting the people in Korea."
