Seoul (FN), May 18 – According to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, in the first five months of 2024, Cambodia approved 147 investment projects with a total investment of USD 2.7 billion, creating more than 140,000 jobs.

The premier spoke on Saturday (May 18) during his meeting with the Cambodian community in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.

At the same time, Samdech Thipadei expressed hope that his current visit to the Republic of Korea would attract more investors to Cambodia.

Prime Minister Hun Manet underlined that during his current visit to the Republic of Korea, a key objective is to engage with investors. This includes organizing business forums between Cambodia and the Republic of Korea, as well as face-to-face meetings with investors. Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet stated that this policy is beneficial to the nation and the people of Cambodia.

It should be noted that Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet and Spouse Pich Chanmony are leading a high-level delegation on an official visit to the Republic of Korea from 15-18 May 2024.
