Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 29 – Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia Ueno Atsushi sent a condolence message over the tragic explosion occurred in the military facility in Kampong Speu Province on 27 April 2024.

The Embassy of Japan in Cambodia wrote on Facebook on Sunday (Apr. 28).

"I am saddened by the news of the tragic explosion occurred in the military facility in Kampong Speu Province on 27 April that resulted in loss of many soldiers as well as injuries.

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family of the victim by loss of their beloved one and pray that the soul of the deceased rest in peace and all those affected by the tragedy recover at an early date."
