Seoul, July 9 - Cambodia became the chairman of the Cultural Council of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties, while China, Russia and Nepal were vice chairmen.
The permanent members of ICAPP represent 34 political parties from 23 countries, including Cambodia.
The decision was shared during the third meeting of the ICAPP Media Forum, which focused on "The Role of the Media in Promoting Democracy" and the role of the media in building an Asian community in South Korea.
Deputy Prime Minister, Hor Namhong, was elected as ICAPP Vice President and as Co-chair of the Asia-Europe Political Forum (AEPF).
Huy Vannak was elected vice-chairman of ICAPP Media Forum's Bureau, a two-term position.
