Phnom Penh (FN), July 6 – Cambodia National Rescue Party’s Vice President, Eng Chhay Eang, announced that CNRP will remove Sam Rainsy’s image from CNRP’s logo or infographic once the amendment of the Law on Political Parties come into effect.

The announcement was made Thursday morning following the meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee’s decision to approve Law on Political Parties next Monday.

"The law… If they do not allow us to use the name of Sam Rainsy, we abide! Law can be amended,” said Eng.

“Once we win the election, we can re-amend,” he added.
