Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 13 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet instructed all ministries and institutions to consider the Ministry of Inspection as a constructive partner to strengthen implementation.
The premier spoke on Tuesday (Feb. 13) during the annual meeting of the Ministry of Inspection at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.
“I would like to confirm that the Ministry of Inspection assisted the first four approaches of the five approaches for better governance – self-reflection, showering, exfoliation, treatment, and surgery,” the premier underlined.
On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei reiterated that monitoring falls under the purview of the 7th legislature of the Royal Government. The core principle guiding our efforts is centred on reform, strengthening governance, and modernizing state institutions.
The premier also expressed gratitude to the audit officers and inspectors at both national and sub-national levels, as well as all ministries and institutions, for diligently fulfilling their duties. He added inspection work is a complex task, necessitating continuous capacity building and the acquisition of key qualifications.
