SAN SALVADOR, Feb 4 (Reuters) - El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele declared himself the winner of presidential elections held on Sunday, hours after polls closed but before the electoral body announced official results.
"According to our numbers, we won the presidential election with more than 85% of the votes and a minimum of 58 out of 60 Assembly deputies," Bukele said on X, referring to the 60-seat legislative assembly.
