Phnom Penh (FN), June 3 – Three international observation groups including ICAPP, CAPDI, and CDI led by Andrés Pastrana Arango, former president of Colombia paid a courtesy call to PM Hun Sen on Saturday morning.
"It covers 3 main principles, including experiences, participations and knowledge about Cambodia’s election system”, stated Eang Sophalleth, personal secretary to PM.
“After the arrival, I saw huge election campaigns from several political parties such as CPP, CNRP and other parties. He was glad to see the campaign went smoothly and to see that Cambodia democracy is moving forward”, said Vijay Jolie, ICAPP's representative.
PM Hun Sen thanked the delegates who were present in the election observation.
The initiation to the observers is for them to see the election process that will take place on Sunday in which materials and technical support are from European Union and Japan.
