Phnom Penh (FN), June 1 - There is evidence that several non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and civil society organizations are illegally promoting the opposition party online.

The information came Thursday morning from a senior military officer.

“We have pinpointed a group of civil society organizations- particularly those involving individuals illegally assist with the opposition's online campaign,” said the senior officer.

“We will investigate the evidence in accordance with the Law on Management of NGOs and associations," he added.
