Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 22 – Asian Vision Institute (AVI) organised its Annual Meeting and celebrated the 5th-year anniversary of the institution on 16 January 2024 at Sun and Moon Riverside Hotel.
The event was attended by senior government officials, ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps, national/international organisations, as well as development partners and think tanks.
“Over the past five years, AVI has contributed to various research, projects, and programs, showcasing AVI's commitment to contributing to Cambodia's socioeconomic development and shaping public opinion on how significant a think tank is to peace and security. As ways forward, AVI commits to achieving its mission and to further strengthening its role in the coming years. First, AVI will work on institutional building, specifically on building the capacity of its staff and members. Second, AVI will continue to promote interactions though building practical cooperation and partnership with think tanks, scholars, and researchers from Mekong countries, ASEAN countries, Asia-Pacific, and beyond. Third, AVI will work on producing positive impacts by implementing practical projects that yield tangible results or outcomes for its community, country, region and beyond,” according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Monday (Jan. 22).
