Phnom Penh (FN), May 23 – The Phnom Penh Municipal Court announced their decision to detain a drug ringleader and his counterpart for the  possession and
distribution of illicit drugs.

Mok Chito, the Deputy Commissioner of the National Police, arrested the drug boss in Phnom Penh and his counterpart in Ratanakiri last Thursday.

Police confiscated 56kg of drugs, including methamphetamines, ICE, heroin, and pills. They were found in Wat Samrong, Phnom Penh Thmey, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.

The ensuing investigation led security forces to identify the kingpin as a hotel owner in Ratanakiri Province.
