Phnom Penh (FN), May 19 – Prime Minister Hun Sen has ordered police to maintain law and order throughout the electoral campaigns and Election Day itself.

“From May 20 until June 04, 2017, police force should ensure the security for the electoral campaign and Election Day," the premier wrote in a letter addressed to the National Police on the occasion of the 72th Anniversary of its inception on Friday.

The premier also urged police to come and vote.

Campaigning begins tomorrow and all political parties are well prepared and ready.

To avoid conflict, forces have been deployed to maintain security and order.
