Phnom Penh (FN), May 12 - The World Economic Forum (WEF) on ASEAN held in Phnom Penh from came to an end today.

The closing ceremony was led by the head of the Royal Government of Cambodia, Prime Minister Hun Sen.

"I am content with everyone's participation, which illustrates teamwork in the ASEAN framework," stated the Prime Minster.

"I hope the WEF will be an important event to expand regionalization and globalization. Thank you for joining and honoring Cambodia as the host. I wish you all the best," he added.

The event was attended by Heads of states and governments of Vietnam, Laos, and the Philippines, along with delegates from across Asia Pacific, business people, and researchers.

There were 12 internationally-recognized media organizations from across the globe as well.
