Phnom Penh (FN), May 9 – Prime Minister Hun Sen will lead a senior delegation to attend “Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation” in China for 2 days.
The forum will be held in Beijing from 14th to 15th May 2017.
The premier was invited by Chinese President Xi Jinping, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Hor Namhong, Foreign Affairs Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Finance Aun Pornmoniroth, Minister of Commerce Pan Sorasak, Minister of Public Work and Transport Sun Chanthol, and other senior government officials.
“Prime Minister Hun Sen will join with other Heads of Government at the Leaders Roundtable Meeting,” according to the statement released by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
“The premier will deliver his remarks on “Strengthen People-to-People Bond" and " Policy Synergy for Closer Partnership"," the statement added.
After the forum, Prime Minister Hun Sen will pay an official visit to China from 16 to 17 May 2017 to meet separately with various Chinese leaders.
